The Milgard Windows We Install in Portland
Because we are certified on both vinyl and fiberglass, we are not pushing one material to clear out inventory. We look at your house, your budget and how long you plan to stay, then recommend the series that fits.
- Milgard vinyl: V250 Style Line, V300 Trinsic and V400 Tuscany. These vinyl series need no paint and little upkeep.
- Milgard fiberglass: C650 Ultra and C700. The fiberglass line we install when a homeowner wants fiberglass over vinyl.
- Every common style. Double-hung, casement, slider, picture, and bay or bow windows, all built for Pacific Northwest weather.
Your written quote lists the exact series and window count, so you can compare it line by line with any other bid.
Why a Milgard Certified Installer Matters
A Milgard window is only as good as the way it goes into the wall. We install with Milgard's factory-certified methods, and we hold to Oregon code on every Portland job.
- Oregon energy code. New and replacement windows in Oregon have to reach a U-factor of 0.30 or lower. We order every Milgard window with the Low-E glass and gas fill that meets it.
- Egress where it counts. Bedroom windows have to open wide enough for an emergency escape under Oregon code. If an old opening falls short, we tell you before we order.
- Safety glazing. Windows next to a door, low to the floor, or beside a tub or stairs need tempered glass. We spec it wherever the code calls for it.
- Warranty you can use. Qualifying Milgard installations carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty, and we put our own warranty in writing too. See our warranty page.
